On a Greek island, time seems suspended. The haunting sound of church bells intrigues a three-year-old boy, who sets off on a quest as naive as it is mysterious. Shot on 16 mm film, the movie unfolds a childlike poetry blending landscapes, memories and a fascination with sound.

Conceived as a page from a diary, Journal de la fureur de l’eau recounts a day at the seaside. The film questions the loss of memories and the fading of the past when too much time has gone by, leaving the water as the fragile witness of what disappears.

Manifesto

Blue as a manifesto

“Not as an aesthetic constraint, but as an artistic territory. An invisible thread. A common language.”

Bleu Paris did not choose its colour by chance.

Blue is:

  • Infinity
  • Melancholy
  • Dreams
  • The abyss
  • Serenity
  • Depth

It runs through cultures and imaginations.

It is a common ground.
