Blue, the Infinite Screen
Through our festival, we bring together film professionals and enthusiasts who share a fascination for this colour — and our family keeps growing.
Although blue is the French public’s favourite colour, no film festival had ever been devoted to it. Blue evokes a broad palette of themes. Synonymous with water, and therefore with life, blue is linked to the Earth, the ocean and the sky, and so to environmental issues. Symbolically, blue is associated with serenity and purity, but also with the French monarchy and with Europe, opening the door to emotional and political territories alike.
