A cinematic exploration of blue
From 10 am, the Off Selection opened the festival with a series of short films out of competition. The morning gave the audience a chance to discover bold and varied works exploring the colour blue from angles both poetic and innovative. Conversations with the directors in attendance enriched this first part of the day.
Official Selection & Audience Award
At 7:30 pm, the Official Selection took over the main auditorium. After an inspiring speech by Monah Maucouvert, the festival’s founder, the films in competition carried the audience through stories that were by turns intimate and spectacular, with blue standing out as a central element of the storytelling.
For this 2025 edition, the audience voted for its favourite film, deciding the Audience Award.
The evening culminated in the long-awaited announcement of the winners:
The Jury Prize went to Anatole by Thibault Delacoste.
The Audience Award went to Eros Immo by Victor Besvel.
